PVA – 40

PVA-40 is a high viscosity polyvinyl alcohol stabilized vinyl acetate homopolymer dispersion used as fabric stiffener and for general textile finishing material.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

Physical Appearance : Dense flowing emulsion
Chemical Composition : Polyvinyl Acetate Emulsion
Solid Content % : 40 + 1.0 %

pH : 4.5 – 5.5
Shelf Life : Twelve months
Mechanical Stability : High
Film Clarity : Transparent

HANDLING & STORAGE:

The storage stability is good but it is advisable to store PVA-40 in shade at 5 – 35OC. The container should be tightly closed in order to avoid skin on the surface & evaporation.

PVA-40 is available in 200 Kgs open head metal drums.
